NARRATIVES AND STORIES
Features
narratives of the families tracing back to the original patriarchs that founded
the Bessette Houle Families in North America as well as the early McLean and
Fleming Families of the 19th and 20th Century. There
is also a summary of the families entitled linkages that will
provide you with an overview of our four families over time and a pictorial
narrative of our Bessette-Houle Canadian Heritage.
A collection of military stories of various family members that served in the military.
Contains PDF file of family narratives, family writings, and military stories. PDF files enable printing of each page in the file which is not possible when printing from the HTML version of these stories.
FAMILY WRITINGS
This is a
compilation of essays, eulogies and family poetry written by different family
members.
As with other
aspects of this site family members are invited to contribute to this
collection. Please contact me and I will assist you in getting the document
included.
PHOTOS
Albums established for each family and postings (with
some exceptions) limited to old pictures (i.e.
those that are pre 1980). In addition it is contemplated to include various
collections of interest such as early Holyoke scenes, vintage photos from Quebec
Province, and other subjects of interest to the early family history buffs.
Currently includes Raoul & Doris 1956 Wedding and numerous members of the families still living some 50 plus years ago. Other videos from that era are welcome for inclusion.
FAMILY DOCUMENTS
Includes family documents from my files of births, marriages, deaths and
other items of interest. Needless to say any contributions of older family
records would be welcomed additions to this collection.
Contained in this section is an album displaying paintings and other works falling in the realm of visual art work by family members. These are primarily a collection of paintings that I produced many years ago after our daughter Anne died. I would be very happy to incorporate any other works of our family members that would care to provide me with a photo that can be scanned or emailed .

There are three family data bases and genealogy software that will permit you to
navigate easily through your family ancestry.
Includes links to a site featuring burial sites, bios and photos of a large number of deceased persons. The site is findagrave.com and info on a number of family members is being posted to the site.
